Thanks so much for visiting me in my cyber home. In true Victorian fashion, I welcome you to the parlor, the place where Victorians entertained their callers. Please, take a seat on the settee, or if you prefer an armless lady’s chair to keep your skirts from getting mussed, I have several to choose from.
Can I interest you in a cup of tea? My favorite flavor is peppermint, but I have a number of other choices. Just tell me what you’d like, and I’ll have my kitchen staff secure it. If you’d prefer a cool drink, I’ve had my cook prepare some fresh-squeezed lemonade. While you sip, I’ll tell you a little about me.
I write what I love to read: inspirational historical romances with dashing heroes and determined heroines, all of whom embody the spirit and resourcefulness of those who settled the far western United States. Most of my stories are set in the heart of the Gold Country where I live.
When my fingers aren’t hovering over the keyboard of my newfangled laptop, I enjoy strolling past stately Victorian houses in my historic town, burying my nose in reference books as I unearth interesting facts to include in my stories and interacting with other romance readers. My favorite places to visit are my fictional worlds, other towns in the Mother Lode and museums. My appetite for history is well nigh insatiable.
I’m eager to get to know you. We could connect through that newfangled device called a computer using email or the social media accounts in the sidebar. If you’d like, you could put pen to paper and send me a handwritten note. I’m a bit old-fashioned and believe a letter arriving in my post office box to be a real treat. See my addresses below.
Keeping in Touch
I love hearing from readers, so feel free to zap me an email. My address is keligwyn (at) keligwyn (dot) com. I respond to every message myself, although if I’m on deadline, it might take me a few days for me to get back to you.
For those, like me, who still enjoy putting pen to paper on occasion, my address is Keli Gwyn, PO Box 1404, Placerville, CA 95667.
