  • Keli Gwyn says:

Thanks for all the wonderful well wishes. I appreciate them.

We had a quiet Thanksgiving. Our college daughter was home for the day. Our German-French major fixed Chicken Schnitzel for our main dish–non-traditional but tasty–and I prepared the rest. First time we’ve shared the cooking. I liked that.

She had to return to her college town (an hour away) to work all night at her Target store’s Black Friday kickoff. I surprised her by offering to drive her there and back. I hung out in the Starbucks inside the store, where she’s a barista. I crashed in my truck at 4 a.m. so I’d be awake enough to drive her back home when she got off at 7 a.m. We’re enjoying the rest of our time with her until she has to leave after church tomorrow.

  • Belated Thanksgiving wishes, sweet Keli! I was very sick on Thanksgiving Day, so am still catching up on things. Just read your comment above about driving your daughter to her job and staying all night–WOW! What a wonderful Mom you are! 🙂 ~ ~ I was tickled when I viewed the photos of readers with your book, and saw my kitty Delilah! 🙂 LOVED your debut novel, and cannot wait to read many, many more of your books.
