LIH Spotlight: Want Ad Wedding

It’s April, and that means four new stories from
Love Inspired Historical will be hitting shelves.

This week I’m shining the spotlight on
Want Ad Wedding by Cheryl St.John,
the first book in the Cowboy Creek Continuity series.

Want Ad Wedding

Second Chance Bride

When Daniel Gardner convinced the residents of his Kansas boomtown to advertise for mail-order brides, he never expected the woman he once loved to respond. But Leah Swann steps off the bride train…pregnant and widowed and in need of a husband. Drawn to protect his fragile childhood friend, Daniel proposes a marriage of convenience.

Seeing her onetime best friend waiting to meet the bride train is a wonderful shock for Leah. After her first rocky marriage, a practical partnership with Daniel sounds perfect—as long as her heart doesn’t get involved. But when she starts to fall for her husband, will her plans of a fresh start be ruined…or is a real marriage to Daniel exactly what she needs?

Cowboy Creek: Bringing mail-order brides, and new beginnings, to a Kansas boomtown.

Fun Question for Cheryl…

It’s rare to find a person who doesn’t like pizza. Do you? If so, what are your favorite toppings?

Cheryl says: “I’m that rare person who doesn’t love pizza. When my family wants pizza I eat salad or pasta. I’m not a hot cheese fan, and the meat is often too greasy for my taste.

There is one pizza I recently discovered I love, however, and it’s from Old Chicago. I get a soft thick crust with it: Tuscan chicken with spinach. Lemon garlic sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, applewood-spiced chicken, bruschetta tomatoes and roasted garlic. Topped with fresh spinach tossed in a lemon vinaigrette. I love spinach and chicken, so it hits the mark for me.”

Cheryl shared a picture of this yummy pizza. Are you hungry yet?

Your Turn…

Do you like pizza, or are you one of the rare people,
like Cheryl, who doesn’t care for it?

If you do like pizza, what are your favorite toppings?

LIH Spotlight: The Cowboy’s Baby Bond

It’s April, and that means four new stories from
Love Inspired Historical will be hitting shelves.

This week I’m shining the spotlight on
The Cowboy’s Baby Bond by Linda Ford,
the second book in her Montana Cowboys series.

The Cowboy's Baby Bond

An Honorable Cowboy

Determined single mother Willow Reames has one goal: to reunite with her sisters and begin a new life with them and her infant son. But when she’s unexpectedly stranded in the Montana wilderness—with her siblings nowhere in sight—she needs to rely on the kindness of Johnny Harding.

It’s more than honor that compels the half Native American cowboy to help the beautiful widow and her adorable baby. The little family evokes his masculine instincts to protect them. Soon woman-wary Johnny is cradling baby Adam in his arms and offering to assist Willow in finding her missing sisters. As their hearts slowly thaw, can Johnny convince Willow to trust him with the secret she’s keeping so, just maybe, they can have a future together?
